transcript

every little thing you did
i told you
every little thing you did
i was there for you
every little thing that we had rolled on
from here to there

all our pain just faded like the evening sun
you called out burning from above

every little way you go i found out
it was not what we had

oh, what then did you have that all the world hid from you?
where would you go if you only…
where would you go if you only knew

all your pieces splash
like my foot climbing through the ocean waves

up above me
here below me
you would always have
something more than all these pieces
you would be for me

there we were like burning crayons out in the sun
toasted colors
my usefulness is gone
where do i?
where do you?
where do we
go to find it now, where we piece it together?

it was mine
it was yours
it was ours
it was ours!

it was ours!

we are one in a million

we were one
we were one
and it always came your way (repeat)

we were one
we were one
and you knew the song we’d sing

we were one
we were one
and you knew every part of me

we were one
we were one
and we had all the sea

in the water molecules
we washed out
we washed out
we washed out
we washed out

welcome
to song

song dot land
we sing the song
it makes no sense anywhere else

but walk with me to find the joy
somewhere far from all we do and are

somewhere out there
somewhere out there across our land
walks with you

’cause life is hard for all of us
and, it’s fun to have companions on the road
where we walk
and then we talk

falling out
finding out
now, we go

piece by piece
like the puzzles that you put together on thanksgiving

piece by piece we find
in every situation
love redeems

love

you know why so many songs sing of love
and why i would scream and shout with crowds
“hallelujah”?

on the clouds of fire we sing, oh!
every cell in our skin cries out!
cries out for
cries out for
cries out for love

if i’m to respect myself, oh, it’s love

[tuning break]

your flowers are starting to pop
so you know what that means?

spring is almost at bay
dark winter’s shadow is almost gone

still i feel like it’s over
’cause winter’s been so dark

not anymore, not anymore, not anymore!

even the snow still falls
it doesn’t stop the grass from singing again

even when the march freeze threatens everything
the trees still can’t wait to come out!
like me 🌻!

pieces of our heart still shine down
crying in the little that’s left to give

oh, i go

piece by piece
and heart by heart
i’m a champion

and the mud can’t get in the way of all your intentions
and somewhere here in the world
you give all that you needed

give it up, give it up
to the one that never wants [unintelligible]
and they don’t know where to run if you need intention

i was just floating in the skies above
when you called and i ran away

i was always there
i was always there
happy for the world
happy for it all

oh, the skies still fall
oh, here to there
oh, the skies still fall
oh, here to there

oh, my running doesn’t mean anything
there i came from elevators
trampling things that were higher than me

i didn’t know what meant by this
i didn’t know what meant for all

but

when i say yes to something
it’s no to something else
what do we have left?

look how cool this artwork looks!
